Moments of Hope: Feeding Those in Need

For more than 30 years, Community Service CDC has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities.” 

Last year we distributed 200,000 pounds of food to the community. We could not have done it without your generous support. This year, our goal is to distribute over 500,000 pounds of food to the less fortunate in our community. We cannot do it without your continued, generous support. 

The percentage of low and moderate-income persons residing in the defined area is 70%.             

Services are provided to all eligible households regardless of race, national origin, religion, or disability status.

CSCDC operates The Detroit Muslim Mission Mobile Food Pantry every Tuesday & Thursday from 10am - 2pm.  At various location throughout the city (See Below). 

The food pantry provides boxes of nutritious food for 6500+ low & moderate-income families/persons.  Priority for the boxes will go to households with children, unemployed adults, and seniors in the target area.  

Delivery of food boxes is available for home- bound seniors and disabled persons in the target area.  Boxes are distributed at various locations in the city.
